Benefits of Sports Massage

Sports Massage helps to maintain and improve muscle tone, flexibility and range of motion. My aim is to get you to your optimal posture, to avoid future injuries.

As a Sports Massage Therapist I will use a variety of massage techniques for deep tissue release, soft tissue manipulation and myofascial release. These techniques have been developed to ensure effective results are gained from each massage given. 

Benefits include:

  • Improved blood circulation; key to increasing oxygen and nutrients supply into the muscles, to reduce muscle fatigue and soreness.

  • Loosen shortened or tense muscle tissue.

  • Increase the elasticity of over–trained hard tissues.

  • Psychological well being;  including relaxation and reduced anxiety. 

I promise to  treat you as an individual. We’ll begin with an initial assessment where we’ll check your range of movement, the way you walk and hold yourself, and look for any postural misalignments,and/or muscle tension. A treatment plan will be tailored to your individual needs. We will look to address any imbalances, weakness, and root causes of discomfort; With the  aim of giving you a more symmetrical, healthier body.
